WWE Champions
Randy Orton
On Oct. 7, 2007 at No Mercy, Randy Orton was awarded the WWE Championship. During the night, he lost the title to Triple H only to win it back again in a bloody Last Man Standing battle.
Jeff Hardy
After months of coming up just short, Jeff Hardy avenged his February title loss to Umaga and regained the Intercontinental Championship from the Samoan Bulldozer on the Sept. 3, 2007 edition of Raw.
Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix finally lived up to her potential as the Glamazon, a mix of beauty and power, by woman-handling Candice Michelle at No Mercy to become the new Women's Champion.
Lance Cade
In a match ordered by a maniacal Mr. McMahon, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated The Hardys on the June 4 Raw to win the World Tag Team Championship for the second time.
Cade & Murdoch made the challenge and offered to wait until The Hardys were 100 percent; instead, McMahon made the match for that night, and Cade pinned Jeff after a missed Swanton Bomb to claim the gold.
Batista
Batista defeated The Great Khali and Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat Match at Unforgiven to once again become World Heavyweight Champion.
Montel Vontavious Porter
At Judgment Day, MVP won a 2-out-of-3 Falls match in two straight falls to become the United States Champion, the latest in a long line that includes several Hall of Famers and current SmackDown Superstars.
Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy and MVP defeated Deuce & Domino to become champions, despite their bitter rivalry over MVP's U.S. Title.
